As an attorney, Dr. Weinberg was a litigator specializing in complex commercial litigation and in a support capacity for commercial transactions. He also specialized in writing briefs and memoranda of law for other attorneys. He wrote the brief and was one of the attorneys of record in Parks v. Commerce Bank, 377 N.J. Super. 378, 872 A.2d 111 (N.J. App. Div. 2005), in which the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey held that a bank cannot stop payment on a cashier’s check or wire transfer without customer consent.
