White House Summit on Inner-City Children and Faith-Based Schools

On April 24, 2008, Dr. Lawrence Weinberg spoke at the White House Summit on Inner-City Children and Faith-Based Schools.

In addition to the president, the Summit included twenty speakers such as former congressman, Reverend Dr. Floyd H. Flake, Dr. Charles L. Glenn of Boston University, and The Honorable Roy Bernardi, Acting Secretary, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Dr. Weinberg was on a panel moderated by The Honorable Ray Simon, Deputy Secretary, U.S. Department of Education about public policy options and spoke about relgious charter schools.
